Entry Level - Customer Service/Internal Sales

A family owned Electrical Components and Spare Parts distributor is seeking a conscientious, energetic person to fulfil Customer Service duties in our busy operation.

The position is permanent fulltime - Monday to Friday - 40 Hours/week.

Successful candidate will be required to report directly to the Office Manager.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Providing product and sales support to all customers

• Providing front line communication and support to all customers

• Preparing quotations and orders as required

• Following up on existing quotes

• Becoming an integral member of the team, building relationships both within the business and external customers

• General administration duties

Skills & Experience:

• Previous customer service experience is preferred but NOT essential

• Have good communication skills - both on the phone and via email

• Be prompt and at work on time - with a good work ethic

• Work well under pressure and have a high attention to detail

• Able to work unsupervised and follow instructions

• Have flexibility with changing tasks

• Must be an Australian permanent resident
