About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team full-time. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills and customer service experience to join a friendly, supportive, and dedicated team.

• Best Practice software experience is essential and required for this role

• Ability to develop and maintain a strong rapport with practitioners and patients

Scope of work, but not limited to:

• Appointment bookings

• Answering telephones

• Patient Billing, Receipting & lodgment to Medicare

• Scanning documents

• Emails

• Filing & archiving

• Banking reconciliation

• Assist in general clerical / administration tasks, as required

Essential selection criteria include:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in similar administrative roles is required

• Advanced expertise in the Medical Benefits Schedule and online claiming procedures is essential

• Proficient computer skills with prior experience using medical billing/appointment software
