Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Diesel / Field Service

Tully Mechanical is seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in a full-time position based at our Monarto workshop.

We are a locally owned and operated mechanical business providing workshop and field service across the Murraylands and surrounding areas. Our work is varied and includes heavy vehicles, earthmoving and mobile plant, generators and power generation equipment.

This role would suit an experienced tradesperson who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is confident working both independently and as part of a small team.

About the role

• Diagnostics, servicing and repairs of diesel engines and equipment

• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

• Breakdown and field service work

• Repairs and fault finding across mechanical, cooling, fuel and electrical systems

• Working on a variety of heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment, mobile plant and generators

• Completing job documentation and service reports

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

About you

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

• Current Australian driver’s licence

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Able to work independently and problem solve

• Reliable, organised and takes pride in quality workmanship

• Good communication skills

• Experience with heavy plant, field service or power generation would be highly regarded
