Timeless Smiles Dental is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team across our Pennant Hills and Castle Hill practices.

We are looking for more than someone who simply wants a job. We would love to find someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and wants to develop skills across both dental assisting and reception/patient coordination.

The Position

This is primarily a full-time position, working approximately 4–5 days per week, including some Saturdays.

Our usual operating hours are:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

• Locations: Pennant Hills and Castle Hill

We are also open to a permanent 4-day working week. If we find two suitable candidates whose availability complements each other, we are happy to structure the roster accordingly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will develop across different areas of the practice, including:

• Chairside dental assisting

• Preparing surgeries and maintaining infection-control standards

• Sterilisation and instrument processing

• Supporting dentists during a range of general and advanced dental procedures

• Welcoming and communicating with patients

• Reception and appointment management

• Answering telephone enquiries

• Patient coordination and follow-up

• Supporting the wider team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

• General cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organised and professional clinical and practice environment throughout the day

• Can work well independently and as part of a team

• Is willing to learn both dental assisting and reception

• Takes initiative rather than always waiting to be asked

• Is comfortable learning new systems and technology

• Can work across both Pennant Hills and Castle Hill locations

• Has a driver’s licence and reliable access to a car

Previous dental assisting experience and/or Certificate III in Dental Assisting would be highly regarded; however, we are also interested in candidates with the right attitude, communication skills and genuine desire to build a career in dentistry.

Remuneration will be based on qualifications, skills and experience and aligned with applicable award rates.
