Responsibilities

As the Project Director, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development and execution of a large-scale renewable IPP project.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, contractors, and investors, to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in managing large-scale renewable energy projects, particularly IPPs.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, or other clean energy solutions.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and environmental compliance in the renewable energy sector.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:
