Casual Diploma Educators (or Working Towards) – Surfers Paradise

We are currently seeking exceptional casual Educators to join the team at our Early Childhood service in Surfers Paradise, QLD!

Our Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:

• Inclusive of others, with a positive and collaborative attitude
• Motivated to build respectful and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community while maintaining professional boundaries
• Dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a commitment to excellence for children and willingness to grow with the service
• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our unique and innovative approach to programming and practice
• Shows an interest in understanding and exploring the RIE approach
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications are encouraged (at own cost).

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Blue Card
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities
• Available for casual work across service operational days and hours (Monday-Friday, 7am – 6pm), with flexibility as required
• Considerable recent experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, particularly working with multiple age groups
• ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Cert III qualified and working towards your Diploma
• Current Food Safety training, with a certificate to be provided*
• Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for ‘Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk’, with evidence to be provided*
• Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*

* To be completed prior to your first working shift.
