What you'll be responsible forThis role sits within our Citation Safety advisory team, and reports to our Head of WHS. Here's what your days will look like:Provide accurate, practical WHS and psychosocial risk advice to clients, grounded in current regulatory codes of practice and model WHS laws.Review client WHS policies, procedures and psychosocial risk frameworks, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.Plan and deliver desktop and on-site WHS audits, including site walk-throughs, worker consultation and hazard identification.Prepare clear, actionable audit reports outlining findings, risk ratings and prioritised recommendations.Support clients to implement WHS and psychosocial risk management plans, including corrective actions arising from audits.Deliver client training and webinars on WHS and psychosocial risk topics.
Who we're looking forYou bring technical rigour to WHS advice and don't wait for problems to escalate before you act. Beyond that, here's what will set you up for success in this role:A relevant WHS qualification (e.g. Diploma or Certificate IV in WHS) or equivalent demonstrated experience.Sound working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and psychosocial hazard requirements.Experience conducting WHS audits and preparing formal audit reports.Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional advice and reports.Confidence advising clients directly and managing sensitive conversations.Willingness and ability to travel interstate to client sites as required.
