Accounts Payable Officer

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices, expenses, and payments are processed accurately and on time.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that genuinely works well together, in a flexible environment with opportunities to partner across the wider business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll take ownership of accounts payable, maintaining vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing vendor and subcontractor invoices and credits

• Matching purchase orders and verifying approvals

• Investigating and resolving discrepancies

• Preparing EFT payment runs

• Managing employee expenses and credit card reconciliations

• Maintaining accurate records and supporting audits

• Reconciling vendor statements and escalating issues

• Building strong vendor relationships

• Supporting process improvements and ad hoc tasks

About You

• Experience in accounts payable or a similar role (Minimum 3 years)

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP (desirable)

• Intermediate Excel skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
