About the Role:
The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (ECRA) is recruiting for a Talent Pool for Regulatory Officers to fill current and future temporary and permanent vacancies within the next 12 months, across the 8 regions in Queensland. This is the sixth time the ECRA has conducted a recruitment process for the Regulatory Officer Talent Pool and previous successful applicants remain current in the pool until they are offered a permanent position in their chosen regional office or 12 months passes.
Previous successful applicants from the talent pools conducted on and prior to March 2025, must now reapply to be considered for Regulatory Officer positions in ECRA.
Successful applicants from the September 2025 should also consider reapplying for this talent pool, as the 12 month period expires towards end September 2026.
About You:
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
Experience as a regulator or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the ECEC sector
Experience in conducting assessment and rating or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and complete training in conducting assessment and rating
Ability to analyse evidence and create analysis
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritise and complete projects and tasks efficiently
Decision-making skills
Ability to manage risk and prioritise the work
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders

5:00pm Tuesday 1st September 2026.
