The Opportunity

Set among beautiful gardens, Albany Creek Retirement Village is a welcoming community known for its friendly residents and strong sense of connection. With great on‑site amenities, flexible living options and convenient access to local services, it offers a secure and enjoyable retirement lifestyle. As an Administration Assistant, you will provide essential support across the village while delivering a welcoming and customer focused experience for residents. Acting as a first point of contact, this is a is a varied and engaging position where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who is organised, adaptable, and enjoys working in a people‑focused environment.

We currently have a casual opportunity available helping our team on an ad-hoc basis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands! Availability will be asked on application

Your Impact

Act as the first point of contact within the community, welcoming residents and visitors and maintaining inviting common areasBuild positive relationships with residents and provide friendly, responsive support to enquiries and call‑outs, escalating matters as appropriateLiaise confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including residents, families, and contractorsCreate and update resident communications, including flyers and newslettersProvide general administrative support and dependable assistance to the Community Manager when requiredAssist the facilities team with lodging of maintenance jobs throughout the villageSupport the coordination of community events and activities that enhance resident engagement and satisfactionDemonstrate a strong commitment to resident satisfaction by engaging multiple stakeholders while maintaining a calm and organised approach

What You'll Bring

Experience in a customer focused administration or reception role, ideally within Retirement Living, Aged Care, Hospitality or a similar service environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with a warm, professional and adaptable approachSolid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems; experience with Canva is highly regardedA commitment to delivering thoughtful, respectful service in a resident-centred environmentMinimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
