Legal Assistant - Family & Estates Law

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support the Family & Estates Law Team. You will be an integral part of the team - providing exceptional client service and administrative excellence.

Your Variety Of Work Will Include

Work collaboratively with legal practitioners including Senior Partner to provide comprehensive administrative supportLiaise with clients/barristers/lawyers via phone, letter, email and in-personDraft, proofread and file legal documents and correspondenceManage daily meetings and travelMatter management including setting up files, conflict checks and due diligence proceduresEnd of month billing, including invoice preparation and file closuresDevelop case briefs, synopses, depositions, contracts, presentations and other formatted documentsPlan and organise client and team events

You Will Bring To The Role

Proven experience with administrative support to Partners/Executives within legal services is desirableKnowledge of law, regulations and court systemExceptional communication and client serviceProactive approach and initiativeConfidence with a range of technology and in learning new systemsStrong time management, planning and organisational skillsAbility to work autonomously and in a teamExperience using practice management system Actionstep highly regardedExperience using Redcrest, Commcourts, elodgement and Citec highly regarded
