Key ingredients to ensure success in the role

• Adhere to the agreed roster and present fit for work. 

• It is essential that the candidate can confidently read, comprehend, and execute work instructions, ensuring the consistent quality and reliability of all plant and equipment 

• Must be safety conscious and comply with Company and Client OH&S policies and procedures 

• Choose appropriate rigging equipment based on the weight and dimensions of components to be installed 

• Align, level and secure steel members, pipe spools and mechanical equipment as required 

• Utilise rigging lines, and pulling gear to transport or provide support for heavy equipment 

• Conduct quarterly inspections and tagging of rigging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards 

• Maintaining a clean safe working environment 

• Assemble crawler cranes and adjust crane boom configuration if required 

• Participate and/or lead dual crane lifts 

• Able to assist crew onsite with rigging or other duties as instructed on site including cleaning, assisting with boilermaker's/fitters/ plant operators. 

Essential Requirements for role

• Demonstrated commitment to safety 

• Minimum of 12 months continuous experience as a Rigger, ideally in mining or a similar industry with Intermediate/Advanced Rigging Ticket 

• Experience operating cranes or Franna - Minimum 3 years

• Elevated work platform (Desirable)

• White Card  

• Confined Space and Working at Heights (within 2 years validity)

• High-risk Work license - CO - CN - RI - RA

• VOC - within 3 months

• Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and provide a satisfactory National Police Check 

• Australian Driver's License - current and Valid  

• Unlimited Australian Work Rights
