Job Description

We are looking for a Part Time Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance, handyperson and repairs across guest rooms and hotel facilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdownsConduct preventative maintenance and routine inspectionsMaintain plant and equipment in line with safety and compliance requirementsLiaise with external contractors where requiredSupport the hotel team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

Qualifications

About You

Previous experience in hotel or building maintenance (preferred)Trade qualification or strong hands-on maintenance experience (advantageous)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyUnderstanding of WHS and safe work practicesFlexible availability, including weekends if requiredA positive attitude and team-focused approach
