Scope

As a Vice President in our Financial Restructuring Group you will lead execution on a variety of transactions, including debtor- and creditor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions. The group offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory and investment banking products and industries.

These services include:

Advising companies and stakeholders in informal and formal restructuring transactionsProviding distressed M&A AdvisoryAdvisory in relation to debt and equity raising in the context of complex, stressed and distressed situationsParticipating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients

Responsibilities

You will lead the execution on a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitionsPrepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial informationCoordinate and perform business due diligence, lead and execute M&A transactionsPrepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentationsValue companies and businessesAssist in the marketing and planning of engagementsBuild relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors

Requirement Qualifications

Degree qualified7-11 years’ experience in M&A, Restructuring, Leveraged Finance or InsolvencyProven deal execution experience in Financial Restructuring, Capital Markets or M&ADemonstrable experience in leading discussions with senior client executives and target managementComprehension of key debt related components and structuresDevelop and review financial models including database systemsMust have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneouslyStrong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitaskAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to grow our business and act entrepreneuriallyMotivated, creative, outgoing and possess strong skills in financial analysisStrong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theoryKeen analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAssist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development effortsDevelop professional network and relationships with firm, client and target professionalsManagement skills in supervising and training staff
