Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Post Graduate Fellow in Urology to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

The primary purpose of the role of the Post Graduate Fellow in Urology is to provide a program of additional training to develop subspecialty interests in Urology (functional urology and uro-oncology), and to further develop core clinical skills. The Post Graduate Fellow will have completed advanced training to become a specialist medical practitioner in Urology, or have completed specialist training in another discipline relevant to the Fellowship training program.

The Post Graduate Fellow will provide high quality clinical care, diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Urology at the level of a Post Graduate Fellow, and participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Urology Department and Concord Hospital as required. They will ensure high standards of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with recognised qualifications in Urology, and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship prior to, or within three months of the expected commencement date, may be considered.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
