VIC LOGISTIC PTY. LTD. The Transport Company Manager will be responsible for organising, directing, and controlling the overall operations of our transport business.

This is a senior management position requiring strong knowledge of the Australian transport industry, regulatory compliance, operational planning, workforce leadership, and logistics optimisation. Benefits Benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 90,000-$95,000 per year plus Superannuation Task & responsibilities Oversee and manage daily transport operations across all routes and service regions across different states. Develop, implement, and optimise operational plans, procedures, and transport scheduling systems.

Ensure the company complies  Plan and manage budgets, analyse cost structures, and implement measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Lead and supervise supervisors, dispatch staff, drivers, and administrative personnel. Allocate resources effectively, including vehicles, subcontractors, drivers, and operational staff.

Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, mechanics, insurers, and service partners. Oversee route planning, load allocations, dispatch operations, and freight movement activities. Monitor operational KPIs, telematics data, service performance, and delivery efficiency.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce operational costs. Provide strategic advice and regular reporting to company directors on operational performance and compliance matters. Qualification & experience Skills & Experience Required Minimum 3+ years experience in transport operations management, logistics management, or a similar senior role in the transport industry.

Strong understanding of Australian transport laws, WHS principles, and industry compliance requirements. Relevant diploma or equivalent work experience , with a focus on transport and logistics.   Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing drivers and transport staff.

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make operational decisions under pressure. Proficiency in transport management systems, logistics planning tools, and telematics platforms is preferred.
