About the role
Are you passionate about translating the Science of Learning into meaningful teaching practice? Join the Macquarie School of Education as a Lecturer (Teaching and Leadership) - Science of Learning and Effective Pedagogy, where you'll help prepare future teachers through our initial teacher education programs.

The School is part of the Faculty of Arts and is home to the Centre for Research in Early Childhood Education (CRECE), the Learning and Equity Incubator, and the Research on Artificial Intelligence in School Education (RAISE) Incubator.
ABOUT YOU
You are an accredited primary or secondary teacher (NSW or equivalent) and have a strong track record and/or current experience of leading curriculum and pedagogy development and delivering excellent evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning. You have expertise in one or more NSW syllabus and have proven capacity to lead our teaching of the Strong Beginnings core content 'brain and learning' and 'effective pedagogical practices' areas. You are a clear communicator with a proactive, adaptable approach, and you enjoy working as part of a team, bringing well-developed interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
