As a Payroll Administrator, you support the production of Council’s weekly payroll, helping ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. Your work supports the people who deliver services across Blacktown City.

You work as part of a payroll team that manages timesheets, payroll and master file entries, payroll reconciliations and payroll records. You allocate labour costs, review payroll data, check adjustments and termination payments, prepare payroll documentation and help ensure payments align with relevant agreements, policies and legislation. You also respond to enquiries from employees and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate payroll information.

Every pay run depends on attention to detail. Your work helps ensure employees receive the correct wages, allowances and entitlements, giving them confidence that their payroll records are accurate and up to date. By keeping payroll running smoothly, you support the workforce that delivers services to the Blacktown community.
