This a workshop based role ensuring you are home every night and weekend to enjoy time with family and friends.

• Competitive hourly rate of $62 - $64 per hour (flat rate) plus superannuation paid on all hours worked.

• Workshop based role - be home every night and weekend to enjoy time with family and friends, working between 38 - 55 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday work on occasions.

About you

• Strong auto-electrical knowledge, experience, and aptitude with approx. 4 years industry experience.

• Certificate III Auto Electrical or equivalent (Light Vehicle/ Marine/Heavy Road Transport/Agricultural).

• Ability to read electrical schematics with problem solving and diagnostic skills.

• Experience working in Mining/Construction/Manufacturing/Heavy Machinery. 

• Previous underground experience is desirable.

• Current Forklift License.

• You will have full working rights in Australia, please note visa sponsorship is not on offer at this time.

• You will have the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/electronic system modifications and manufacturing tasks on Normet underground machines

• Conduct fault finding, repairing, replacing, and providing technical advice

• Inspect, audit, service, repair, and overhaul Normet equipment to OEM specifications in workshop or remote mine sites

• Electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles and plant equipment.
