Coach Driver - Skydive Australia - Multiple Positions Available!

Skydive Australia has 8 drop zones across Australia, from the tropical sands of Cairns to the spectacular Great Ocean Road. Our people are at the heart of what we do, helping customers experience some of Australia's most incredible destinations and adventures.

About the role

We are seeking multiple Coach Drivers to join our Wollongong Drop Zone team, with casual, part-time and full-time opportunities available!

This role is responsible for safely transporting customers between Central Station and Skydive Wollongong, while providing a friendly and professional customer experience throughout their journey.

A typical day in the life will look like:

• 5:00am: Arrive at the bus depot in Marrickville, complete required safety and vehicle checks, prepare the coach and travel to Central Station.

• 6:00am: Collect customers from Central Station, Forecourt – Coach Bay 1, and transport them to Skydive Wollongong at Stuart Park, Corner of George Hanly Drive and Cliff Road.

• Once customers have commenced their skydiving experience, there may be some downtime. During this time, you may be required to:

  • Refuel the coach as required

  • Provide relief for the local bus driver during their lunch break

  • Assist with general tasks at the drop zone

  • Complete other reasonable operational duties

• Once customers have completed their experience, transport them back to Central Station before returning the coach to the depot.

• Complete final vehicle checks and ensure the coach is clean, safe and ready for the following day.

We are looking for drivers who are flexible and reliable, with the ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays where required.

About you

You are an experienced bus driver who takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. You will have a strong knowledge of the roads around the Wollongong area and be confident working independently.

You will also bring:

• A current Australian Driver Licence, Medium Rigid, and NSW Bus Drivers Authority

• Experience driving a large coaster bus or similar vehicle

• A strong commitment to safety

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Good administration and IT skills

• A high level of initiative and independence

• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
