We're looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Team Leader to lead a high-performing claims team, drive exceptional customer outcomes and support the continued evolution of our Claims & Service function.

As Commercial Claims Team Leader, you'll lead a team of Claims Consultants, ensuring outstanding service delivery while fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture. You'll play a key role in coaching and developing your team, managing performance, and driving operational excellence across commercial motor claims.

You'll also act as a technical expert and escalation point, supporting complex claims while building strong relationships with brokers, fleet customers, repairers and other key stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Claims Consultants

• Drive employee engagement, performance and a culture of accountability

• Manage team workloads, productivity and service delivery outcomes

• Monitor and report on team KPIs and service level agreements

• Oversee the end-to-end management of fleet motor claims

• Handle complex and escalated claims matters

• Provide technical guidance and support across the team

• Ensure claims practices comply with relevant legislation, regulations and industry codes

• Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve claims processes

• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, customers, repairers and suppliers

• Support the Commercial Claims Manager in developing claims frameworks, policies and procedures. 

To succeed in this role, you'll be a people-focused leader who enjoys developing teams while maintaining a strong focus on customer and business outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Proven leadership experience within Commercial Property, Commercial Motor, Home or Landlord Claims

• Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance claims management and administration

• Experience managing complex and escalated claims

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop team members

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Sound understanding of claims compliance and industry requirements

• Experience within the motor vehicle insurance market will be highly regarded.
