VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
As the Manager, Cost Control, you will lead cost management and financial governance across VIDA Health's major health infrastructure projects. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost reporting, change control and risk management, providing strategic advice to support delivery within approved funding. Working closely with project teams, you will drive cost certainty, contribute to business case development, and help deliver value-for-money outcomes on projects of significant public benefit.
Key aspects of the role include:Managing end-to-end project cost control, including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, variance analysis and change management.Maintaining and enhancing project cost control systems to ensure data integrity and high-quality reporting.Participating in contractor tender and bid evaluations and assessing variations, claims and cost impacts.
We are looking for: Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and project cost control methodologies.Strong analytical capability with the ability to critically review forecasts and provide clear, evidence-based advice.Ability to identifying and manage cost risks in complex delivery environments.Experience with Ecosys or similar cost management systems will be highly regarded.
