About the role
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Raine & Horne is seeking an experienced Communications & Content Manager to lead the planning, development and delivery of communications and content across our network.
Sitting within the Corporate Marketing team, this is a hands-on role for an exceptional communicator who can turn business strategy, performance and ideas into clear, engaging content that connects with our offices and strengthens our brand.
You’ll own our internal communications calendar and work across a diverse mix of content, including newsletters, EDMs, website copy, blogs, campaign messaging, presentations and executive communications.
Importantly, you’ll be someone who can find the story. Whether it’s a strong campaign result, an office achievement, a new strategic initiative or an insight buried in the data, you’ll know how to turn it into content that informs, engages and builds confidence across our network.
Working across Residential, Commercial, Rural and New Zealand, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across marketing, technology, franchise growth and the broader business to ensure our communications are timely, consistent and aligned with our strategic priorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the internal communications calendar across the Raine & Horne network.
Plan, write, edit and distribute newsletters, announcements, EDMs, campaign updates and other network communications through HubSpot and supporting channels.
Translate business strategy and complex information into communications that are clear, relevant and engaging.
Coordinate communications across teams to ensure key messages are timely, consistent and aligned.
Support senior leaders and stakeholders with executive communications, presentations and key messaging.
Develop high-quality content across website copy, blogs, case studies, EDMs, presentations, campaigns and broader marketing initiatives.
Identify compelling stories from across the business, including office achievements, marketing performance, strategic initiatives and network successes.
Turn data, results and business insights into content that demonstrates impact and builds engagement.
Maintain a consistently high editorial standard through strong copywriting, editing and proofreading.
Ensure content reflects the different needs of our Residential, Commercial, Rural and New Zealand businesses while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Maintain and update website content, ensuring information is accurate, current and optimised.
Apply SEO and digital content best practice to support the visibility and performance of website content.
Work with the Performance Marketing Specialist to translate campaign activity and results into compelling content.
Partner with the Social Media Coordinator to ensure messaging and campaigns are integrated across owned and paid channels.
Use HubSpot and other communications platforms to improve the delivery, targeting and effectiveness of communications.
Build strong relationships with corporate stakeholders, Network Managers and offices across the Raine & Horne network.
Regularly engage with offices to understand their priorities, identify stories and improve the relevance of corporate communications.
Attend office visits, conferences and events to gather content and strengthen relationships across the network.
Proactively identify opportunities to communicate business initiatives, successes and insights.
Monitor email, website and content performance, including engagement, open rates, click-through rates and other relevant metrics.
Use performance data and feedback to continually improve communications and content.
Provide regular reporting on communication, content and campaign performance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of communications processes, templates and content governance.
5+ years’ experience in communications, content marketing, journalism, public relations, corporate communications or a related field.
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
Demonstrated ability to distil complex information and strategy into clear, engaging communications.
Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM or marketing automation platform.
Strong understanding of content strategy, editorial planning, email marketing and digital communications.
Working knowledge of SEO, website content best practice and analytics.
Comfortable interpreting performance data and identifying the story behind the numbers.
Highly organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
Strong commercial judgement and exceptional attention to detail.
Confident working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable engaging directly with franchise offices and stakeholders.
Experience within real estate, franchising, professional services or another multi-location business will be highly regarded.
A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or a related discipline.
