The Leaders
You will join an experienced and highly regarded People team that works closely with leaders across the business to deliver thoughtful and commercially focused people outcomes.
The broader leadership group values collaboration, accountability and clear thinking. You will be trusted to operate with independence, contribute a clear point of view and build strong relationships across the technology portfolio and wider Sydney business.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the APAC People Services team and take responsibility for the day-to-day people partnership across the Sydney Tech portfolio.
You will provide practical and strategic support throughout the employee lifecycle, while helping leaders navigate open-ended people challenges, improve processes and connect operational priorities to broader business goals.
The role offers a strong mix of advisory work, employee lifecycle delivery and continuous improvement, and you will help leaders work through sensitive and sometimes unclear situations, turning complex issues into practical actions and sustainable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Building trusted partnerships with leaders and developing a strong understanding of their teams, priorities and challengesProviding practical advice across performance, employee relations, talent, engagement and organisational changeCoaching managers through difficult conversations and supporting them to address issues early and effectivelyManaging a varied portfolio of people matters from initial assessment through to resolutionApplying commercial judgement while considering employee experience, risk and organisational policyIdentifying workforce themes, emerging risks and opportunities requiring further actionHelping leaders translate broader people initiatives into relevant and achievable actions for their teamsCollaborating with internal specialists to deliver coordinated solutions across the employee lifecycleSupporting workforce planning, talent discussions and people-related business decisionsReviewing existing practices and recommending simpler, more effective ways of workingMaintaining accurate records and ensuring people processes are delivered consistentlyContributing to team projects, shared priorities and the ongoing development of the People function
About You
If you are an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys working closely with leaders and making a meaningful impact across the business, you will thrive in this role!
The ideal candidate will bring sound judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to navigate complex conversations with clarity and empathy. The role offers a strong balance of day-to-day people matters and broader organisational challenges, making it well suited to someone who enjoys turning ambiguity into practical, considered solutions.
Experience using AI tools to improve HR delivery, insights or productivity would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
The Process
This is a 12-month contract opportunity with likelihood of extending. Following a meeting with a Levyl team member, the process will involve interviews with the hiring team and may include an additional assessment or task.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and will include a discretionary bonus, along with access to a range of benefits including daily breakfast and lunch, an in-house barista, gym membership, development opportunities and regular social events.
