Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Writing code in TypeScript for both the front-end (Angular) and back end (Node.js)Writing well tested code and taking ownership of it from solution design through to deployment and supporting it in productionImproving security of the application code and infrastructureImproving application architecture and lifecyclesDesigning and building technical solutions to solve business problemsWorking in a small team of talented developers to solve challenging business problemsCollaborating directly with other teams throughout the organisation

Essential:

5-8 years of experience as a full stack software engineerMust have Commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.jsEffective communicator and collaboratorExperience working in an agile environmentExperience coaching and mentoring other engineersAn understanding of software security

Desirable:

Experience in banking or financial industryExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolingExperience with AWS infrastructure and services (Lambda, EC2, EKS, SQS, RDS)Worked with Postgres or other SQL databases in the past
