Hotel Duty Manager

We have an amazing opportunity for an Duty Manager with a history of proven success to join our team at Nesuto Docklands. This property is opened in February 2023.

These roles will be overseeing all aspects of hotel front desk operations at Nesuto’s expansion into the Victorian market. Nesuto Docklands is a $100m new build property, located in Melbourne’s The District Docklands. The 211 key Apartment Hotel features 58 x 1-bedroom, 20 x 2-bedroom and 133 premium apartments.

The role involves:

• Overseeing all aspects of planning, organising, and coordinating the front desk operations for the property while on shift.

• Assisting with reservations and enquiries as required.

• Working efficiently with our maintenance and outsourced housekeeping teams to ensure the property is presented to the highest standard.

• Superb communication skills when interacting with guests, clients, team members and suppliers.

• Handling guest requests and ensuring guest satisfaction.

• Striving to improve the properties operations and finding efficiencies in processes.

• Ensuring security is effectively managed at all times.

• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.

• Reporting on all aspects of day-to-day operations to the Hotel Manager Manager.

• Ensuring health and safety practices are followed and the security of the building and is effectively managed at all times.

Our ideal Duty Manager will have:

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar level role

- First Aid Certificate

- Liquor Controller Qualification Certificate
