Maintenance Carpenter/ Ceiling Fixer

About the role

Hybrid Maintenance is seeking a skilled Maintenance Carpenter/ Ceiling Fixer to join our team in Perth, WA. As a full-time Maintenance Carpenter/ Ceiling Fixer, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running and maintenance and fit outs of our client properties. This hands-on role is crucial in supporting our mission to provide exceptional property maintenance and general building services.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out general carpentry, ceiling and wall repairs and maintenance, including fixing doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings and general building works

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and address any issues in a timely manner

• Assist in fit-outs and defits including framing and lining of walls and ceilings

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders to complete tasks accurately

• Ability to work as part of a team on minor works projects

• Assist with the installation of new fixtures, fittings and other building materials

• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure a coordinated approach to property upkeep

• Maintain detailed records of all work completed and materials used

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Carpenter, Ceiling Fixer or similar hands-on construction role

• Ability to frame, sheet and solid flushing skills

• Strong knowledge of building principles, techniques and tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and work orders

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Flexible and adaptable approach to handle a variety of tasks

• A valid driver's license
