About the role: We are seeking an experienced Manager Pathology Collection Services who will manage the provision of Phlebotomy and Pathology Specimen Collection Services, including service development and planning, across all metropolitan sites and collection centres. This position advises the Director, Preanalytical Services on Statewide Specimen Collection services inclusive of hospital and community placements. The Manager Pathology Collection Services designs, develops and implements organisation wide policies and procedures and ensures best practice and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. This position manages the financial, human and physical resources in the effective and efficient delivery of Pathology Specimen Collection services for PathWest.

An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn. 

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within PathWest and/or the wider WA public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
