About the Role

As a qualified HSEQ Advisor or Safety Officer with previous construction experience, you will use your knowledge and practical approach to support project teams in maintaining safe, compliant, and productive worksites.

You will engage with supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure all HSEQ policies and procedures are followed while contributing to a strong and proactive safety culture. Site based role. South of the river. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support and advise project teams on all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality matters

• Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, inspections, and site observations

• Assist with incident, accident, and injury management processes

• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ management systems

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Review and support SWMS, risk assessments, and project compliance requirements

• Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across all project activities

About You

Qualified

Ideally Certificate IV in WHS with 5 years' relevant experience or

Diploma in OSH and have at least 3 years verified relevant experience in safety management with the Construction industry.

Strong understanding of WA safety legislation and compliance requirements

Strong Communicator

Confident engaging with workers, subcontractors, clients, and management teams

Able to deliver practical and effective safety guidance on site

Team Player

Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within project teams

Committed to supporting safe and successful project delivery
