Duty Manager

The QA Hotel is seeking a passionate & proactive Duty Manager to join our management team!

The iconic QA Hotel is a cornerstone of James Street in New Farm and has been serving patrons since the 1800's with a range of dining options, a dedicated sports bar, full TAB facilities, gaming room and stunning function spaces over three levels.

The Fortitudo Group has a portfolio of seven hotels, along with three attached drive-thru bottle shops and a network of detached bottle shops. About the role

This is a permanent full-time role that reports directly to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the team culture, customer experience and the compliant operation of the hotel. 

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate and deliver: 

• Proven success in a hospitality management role, with at least 2 years experience

• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV Certificates and Approved Managers licence

• Previous experience in an inner-city pub advantageous

• Ability to engage with the community and drive exceptional customer experiences

• Outgoing energetic personality that thrives on customer interaction

• The ability to implement and adhere to policies and procedures

• Reliable and excellent personal presentation

• Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for the industry, its patrons and the people that work within it

Your drive to deliver a consistent high level of customer experience will be the key within this role.  All whilst assisting in leading the team to success through a hands-on approach teaching new skills and expectations to the staff, to help build a strong hospitality team with a focus on delivering exceptional service towards our customers is a MUST.
