• $75,600–$80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Provide high-quality education and care for children aged birth to six years.

• Plan, implement and evaluate learning programs based on the EYLF V2.0 and children’s individual interests and needs.

• Maintain meaningful observations and documentation of children’s learning.

• Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.

• Maintain active supervision, educator-to-child ratios and children’s health and safety.

• Support children’s routines, inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour.

• Lead and support educators, trainees, students and volunteers.

• Contribute to critical reflection, service improvement and the Quality Improvement Plan.

• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, National Regulations and Bright Bees’ policies and procedures.

• Follow all child-safety, child-protection and mandatory reporting requirements.

• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. A Diploma is preferred for the Room Leader position.

• Minimum one year of relevant full-time experience, or equivalent part-time experience.

• Sound knowledge of the EYLF V2.0, NQF and NQS.

• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration, or eligibility to obtain it.

• Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain them.

• Required child-protection and national child-safety training, or willingness to complete it.

• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

• A genuine commitment to child safety and inclusive practice.

Applicants must meet all applicable qualification, experience, English-language, health, character and Department of Home Affairs requirements.
