Paradise Resort Gold Coast is a family-focused resort located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. We’re all about creating fun, energetic and memorable experiences for families, and our kitchen and food & beverage teams play an important part in making that happen.

Join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Steward, helping keep our busy resort kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.

You’ll work alongside our kitchen and food & beverage teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety. From washing dishes and kitchen equipment to maintaining back-of-house areas, you’ll be an important part of supporting smooth service for our guests.

This casual role offers a varied roster and would suit someone who is reliable, hands-on and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.

• Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment to a high standard

• Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, preparation and back-of-house areas

• Clean food preparation equipment, floors and work areas in line with cleaning schedules

• Handle, sort, store and distribute food items when required

• Dispose of waste appropriately and follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Hand or in a similar role is advantageous

• Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy environment

• Reliable, positive and willing to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to use initiative

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
