About the team
The Payroll team plays a critical role in supporting over 1,500 + Council employees, delivering accurate and timely payroll services while providing trusted advice and support across the organisation. We are a collaborative, customer-focused team that values accuracy, continuous improvement, and working together to achieve great outcomes for our people.
About the role
The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing support to the Payroll team, ensuring all aspects of payroll services and processes are efficiently completed within timeframes and with a high level of accuracy.
The role is also responsible for responding to staff payroll enquiries, ensuring all matters are investigated and responded to in a timely manner.

About you
You have sound payroll experience and can confidently interpret Awards, Acts and regulations in a practical and accurate way.
You bring experience from a similar-sized organisation and use your analytical skills to improve payroll systems, processes and service delivery.
