About the role

Value Heat Treatment is seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a full-time position based on-site at our manufacturing facility. As a Factory Worker, you will play a vital role in our assembly and process operations, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our heat treatment services. This position is essential to maintaining our production schedules and delivering excellence to our clients across the manufacturing and logistics sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor heat treatment equipment and machinery in accordance with safety protocols and company procedures

• undertake preparation of components for processing

• Load and unload materials from furnaces and processing equipment

• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards

• Maintain accurate records of production activities and material movements

• Keep the work area clean and organised, adhering to housekeeping standards

• Follow all health and safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards immediately

• Support team members and collaborate effectively to meet daily production targets

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and notify supervisors of equipment issues

What we're looking for

Proven experience in factory or manufacturing work, particularly in assembly or process operations

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality standards

• A commitment to health and safety practices and a willingness to follow all workplace procedures

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods as well as working near furnaces

• Reliable and punctual work attendance

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Previous experience with heat treatment processes or furnace operations is preferred
