About the Role
We now have a fantastic fixed term full-time opportunity for a passionate sports and recreation leader to take on the role of Sports Supervisor at Cockburn ARC until May 2027.
Reporting to the Sports and Programs Senior Team Leader, you will lead a large team of Senior Activity Leaders, Activity Leaders and Sports Umpires to deliver high quality sports competitions, programs and community participation opportunities. You will oversee a diverse portfolio including our senior and junior social sports competitions, sporting clinics, Kids Zumba, Play Active and Pickleball.
This hands-on role will lead the delivery of high-quality competitions and programs, oversee daily operations of our six-court stadium, and support a dynamic team to create positive and engaging experiences for the community.

We are seeking a proactive and organised leader with strong communication skills, a passion for community sport, and the ability to motivate teams while delivering high-quality, customer-focused programs.
A natural people leader, you support and develop others while fostering a positive, accountable team culture. You are a confident problem solver who makes sound decisions, takes initiative, and manages competing priorities independently. Passionate about community, you are committed to delivering inclusive sport and recreation experiences that encourage participation, connection, and wellbeing.

Salary and Benefits: Salary range from Level 4 Step 1 – Step 4 ($88,105 - $93,975 per annum) of the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
