About you:

We are looking for a team player who is self-driven and possesses the following skills and experience:  

• Trade qualified licensed Electrician
• Previous Mining/Conveyor/Heavy Industry experience is highly desirable
• Experience in wiring electrical switchboards
• Forklift Licence (desirable, but not essential)
• Intermediate level knowledge of safety requirements, safe work practices for performing electrical work to AS standards and to electrical compliance regulations
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
• Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as required

Your role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for Trade qualified licenced and experienced Electricians to join the TEAM at the workshop in Somersby to apply trade knowledge and expertise to the manufacture, maintain, service and repair of high-quality electrical equipment related to mining conveyor systems. 

This is a workshop-based role responsible for assembly, wiring, testing, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment ensuring safety, statutory and quality compliance within our electrical workshop.
