Chef

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join the team at an exciting new upmarket café and bar with seated dining in Harcourt.

This is a key role within the business and a great opportunity for someone who loves baking, quality food and presentation.

About the role

• You’ll be responsible for producing a range of high-quality, freshly made café and bakery products while helping us deliver a premium experience for our customers.
• We’re looking for someone confident preparing: Pies and sausage rolls, Muffins, slices and cakes, Danish pastries and other baked goods, Sandwiches and premium grab-and-go items, À la carte café dishes
• Chef experience is essential
• You’ll also have hands-on experience producing fresh breads, including: Sourdough, Vienna loaves, Bread rolls and buns, Artisan breads, Specialty bakery items
• You should be confident with dough preparation, proofing and baking techniques, with a strong focus on quality and consistency.

• Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, 8am – 3pm

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• 2–3+ years of hospitality experience

• Strong chef experience

• Experience with à la carte café food preparation

• Excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance knowledge

• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation

• Strong organisation and time-management skills

• A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude

• A genuine passion for baking and quality food
