About the role
Right at Home Greater Logan is a leading provider of premium in-home aged care and support services. Our mission is simple: to improve the quality of life for those we serve by delivering the Right Care, Right at Home.
We specialise in supporting older Australians through the Support at Home program (formerly Home Care Packages), helping our clients remain safe, independent, and living in the comfort of their own homes. We also provide a smaller range of services to private clients and selected NDIS participants.
As a fast-growing, family-owned business, we're looking for a motivated, organised and positive team player to join our Greater Logan office as a Scheduling & Rostering Officer.
About the RoleAs our second Scheduler, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating care services for hundreds of clients across Logan, Brisbane South and surrounding areas.
Working closely with our Care Partners, Registered Nurses and Recruitment team, you'll develop and maintain efficient rosters that balance client preferences, continuity of care, employee availability and award compliance. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, office-based position with shared participation in a rotating after-hours on-call roster.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage daily client and employee rosters using Visual Care.
Ensure clients receive reliable, high-quality services while maintaining continuity of care wherever possible.
Liaise with clients, care workers and office staff regarding roster changes, leave requests and service enquiries.
Respond efficiently to last-minute schedule changes and unplanned absences.
Maintain accurate employee availability, qualifications and roster information.
Build positive relationships with our care team through proactive communication and support.
Work collaboratively with our clinical, care management and recruitment teams to ensure client needs are met.
Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and employees.
Competitive salary of $70,000 - $77,500 (dependent on experience).
Performance bonus opportunities throughout the year.
Company laptop and all necessary equipment provided.
A supportive, friendly and experienced office team.
Ongoing training and development opportunities.
The opportunity to join one of the region's fastest-growing aged care providers and genuinely make a difference in the lives of older Australians.
Previous experience in a customer service or administration role.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritise competing demands.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and genuine commitment to teamwork.
National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Previous scheduling or rostering experience.
Experience within aged care, community care or disability services.
Knowledge of the Support at Home program, Home Care Packages, or the NDIS.
Experience using Visual Care or a similar rostering platform.
If you're looking for a rewarding role where your organisational skills directly contribute to helping older Australians remain independent at home, we'd love to hear from you.
