Calvary Christian College is an independent, co-educational school in Townsville dedicated to excellence in Christian education for more than 1,100 students, from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12.

About the role...

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Educator to join our Team on a Permanent Full-Time basis for an immediate start.

The role of Educator is to work cooperatively as a member of a Team that generates and maintains a play-based learning environment for children from 2-5 years to support positive outcomes under the National Quality Framework, Regulations and National Quality Standards.

What we are looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have a current Working with Children Check Blue Card (Paid) and a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience.

You will also have:

• Demonstrated experience working with young children.
• Child Safety Certificate (Geccko), Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management Certification.
• Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for Early Childhood education.
• As a Christian College, we seek applicants who actively support our Christian mission - as a preference, our ideal candidate will be able to provide a Pastoral Reference.
