About the role
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027
Situated at the base of the Darling Range, approximately 80 kilometers from Perth, you'll find North Dandalup Primary School 1 kilometer north of the townsite in a unique natural setting with a population of 180 students spanning Kindergarten to Year 6. Established in 1900, the school preserves and respects it's rich history; however, endeavours to enrich the lives of its students preparing them for their future.

The Role
The Deputy Principal assumes a pivotal role within the Student Services team, working closely with the Principal, School Psychologist and the school community to shape the school's identity. They work collaboratively with staff to build collective capability in responding to the diverse learning, behavioural and wellbeing needs of students. Experience in leading Student Services will be viewed favourably.
The Deputy Principal builds and maintains positive relationships at all levels, including with staff, students, parents, and the broader community. The role will be crucial in integrating our ethos of "Nurturing Excellence Naturally" across all aspects of school life.
Educational leadership is a key responsibility, involving the active development and promotion school priorities. The Deputy Principal champions a collaborative approach, encouraging not only staff but also volunteers and community members to actively share ownership of the school's vision and goals. This collaborative ethos extends to change management, where the Deputy Principal strategically facilitates the acceptance of change and identifies opportunities for improved service delivery.
