The Role
Ready to help shape the future of Sydney's transport infrastructure?
As an Engineer – Roads & Highways (Pavements), you'll work alongside a highly regarded transport team delivering pavement design solutions across major road, highway and transport infrastructure projects throughout New South Wales and across Australia. You'll contribute to the planning, analysis and design of flexible, rigid and composite pavement solutions while developing your technical expertise under the guidance of experienced industry leaders.
Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality outcomes that provide long-term value for clients and communities.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Deliver pavement analysis and design solutions for transport infrastructure projectsUndertake pavement investigations, assessments and rehabilitation studiesContribute to the preparation of technical reports, specifications and design documentationSupport the delivery of projects in accordance with relevant Austroads guidelines, TfNSW standards and Australian StandardsAssist with project planning, budgeting and programme management activitiesCoordinate effectively with roads, drainage, structures and multidisciplinary design teamsDevelop and maintain positive relationships with clients and project stakeholdersContribute to technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent1-4 years' experience in pavement design and transport infrastructure projectsExposure to flexible and rigid pavement design methodologiesWorking knowledge of Austroads pavement design guides and relevant Australian StandardsExperience using pavement analysis and engineering software packagesStrong technical reporting and communication skillsA collaborative approach and commitment to quality outcomesAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver work efficientlyAn interest in continuing to develop as a technical specialist within transport infrastructure
