About the role
Position No: DBCA3151864
Salary/Level: Specified Calling Level 3, $133,733 - $147,446 p.a. plus Superannuation
Tenure: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Kensington, Western Australia
The Species and Communities Program coordinates the listing, management and recovery of threatened species, ecological communities and wetlands. The program provides policy, strategic and technical advice on fauna, flora, ecological community and wetland conservation, and manages projects for the promotion of conservation on land not managed by the department.
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Conservation Ecologist to join our team.
This position leads the ongoing conservation and management of conservation significant ecological communities. This is through development of recovery plans, conservation programs, written reports, policy development expert advice, and input to other processes as they arise. The position in liaises with departmental staff, recovery teams and external stakeholders as required.
