Electric Technical Officer

Overview

CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Electro-Technical Officer to join our cement carrier Goliath on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This operation is based in the Bass Strait. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.

How will you contribute to our success?

Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment Adopting safe working practices  UMS test schedules, alarm test etc Assisting during maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance First level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment Providing support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo operations

Basic Requirements

Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer ( required) AMSA Electro-Technical Officer CoC/ CoR Unlimited Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) (desirable) Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable) Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable) H old, or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (required) Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
