PR & Comms SAE / Account Manager

Work with some of Australia’s best restaurants, bars, breweries, bakeries, travel destinations and hotels in this PR & communications role for storytellers at award-winning boutique marketing agency, Seven Storeys, based in Sydney.
Join our team of PR and marketing creatives to deliver a range of exciting, integrated campaigns for our partner brands and businesses in hospitality and travel, such as EVT, Kimpton Margot Sydney, Sofitel, Holiday Inn, Luke Mangan, Freshwater Brewing Co., and The Grumpy Baker.
You'll be responsible for:
Researching, crafting and pitching stories to mediaEngaging with influencers and collaborating on content creation opportunitiesCreating compelling materials such as media releases, articles, bios, and Q&AsKeeping across media movements, story placement opportunities, and key influencers to connect withSecuring earned coverage and content across media outlets, partner channels and social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)Planning and executing media and influencer visits, famils, events and hosted experiencesSupporting on photoshoots and video shootsMedia monitoring and social media listening, providing insightful analysis and data-driven reportingStaying on top of and tapping into trends, topics and best practicesBuilding rapport with clients, industry stakeholders, media, influencers and brand leadersSupporting the broader team on creating copy and social media contentSupporting the communications for the agency's own channels including website and social media
Ideally you will have:
Essential experience - You must have 1-3 years in Australian PR agency at AE/SAE level, or 2-3 years of in-house comms experience working in similar industries to be considered for this roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and rapport buildingA strong understanding of the Australian media and social media landscapesProven ability and confidence to pitch stories and secure coverage and influencer collaborationsExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workA passion for food, drink, travel and hospitality and a collaborative spiritAn ability to think outside the square
This is a full-time position, however we will happily consider part-time applicants for the right fit. Sponsorship is not available for this role - you must already have full working rights to work in Australia to be considered.
