About the role
Nightingale Home Healthcare provides exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate High-Intensity Support Workers to join our dynamic team.
Key responsibilities
Provide high-quality, personalised support to clients with complex physical and mental health needs.
Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
Implement and follow individual care plans to ensure clients' safety, dignity, and well-being.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging clients to achieve their personal goals.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other support workers to deliver comprehensive care.
Monitor and report on client's progress, documenting changes and updating care plans as necessary.
About you
Previous experience in a high-intensity support role or a related field.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Disability, Mental Health, or similar).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are an emotionally intelligent person.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights. You are committed to working.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
You'll need - National police clearance, NDIS screening check, Working with children check and a current First aid and CPR certification (+ the 'regular' NDIS courses).
