About the Role

As our Training Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of learning and development across our residential and home care services.

You’ll design and deliver impactful learning experiences that directly improve care quality and staff performance.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and delivering engaging training programs to upskill our staff, support client centred care and promote capability development across the organisation.

• Coordinating mandatory training requirements for staff, be responsible for the credentialing of care workers and completing required documentation post training.

• Coaching and mentoring staff to support professional development and play a key role in the delivery of quality clinical services and older persons care in accordance with the requirements of relevant legislation.

• Collaborating with the management team to identify training needs, design solutions and ensure the organisation meets mandatory training requirements.

• Maintaining accurate training records and reporting on the impact of your programs.

• Contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment for all participants

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse (APHRA registration) with 5 years' experience in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and the design/delivery of effective training programs.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.

• Current knowledge of Aged Care industry regulations, standards and best practices.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• A collaborative, person centric approach with genuine passion for healthcare education and professional development.
