Make an impact at Serco
As our Infection Prevention & Clinical Operations Advisor, you'll play a key role in strengthening infection prevention and control practices across our Facilities Management services at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Justice Health services throughout Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with operational leaders, clinical stakeholders and frontline teams, you'll translate clinical requirements into practical operational solutions that improve safety, quality and compliance. You'll also lead continuous improvement initiatives, build workforce capability and help shape best practice across multiple healthcare settings.

Translating infection prevention requirements into practical operational practices for non-clinical teamsMonitoring compliance through audits, reporting and continuous improvement initiativesLeading outbreak preparedness, incident response and infection prevention projectsDeveloping workforce capability through education, coaching and mentoring programsAdvising operational leaders on clinical governance, risk management and accreditation requirementsBuilding collaborative relationships with hospital, Justice Health and government stakeholders

You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRAPostgraduate qualifications in Infection Prevention and Control, or you're working towards oneDemonstrated experience in infection prevention and control within a complex healthcare environmentStrong knowledge of NSQHS Standards, clinical governance and healthcare accreditationExperience leading audits, analysing data and driving quality improvement initiativesThe ability to build trusted relationships and communicate complex clinical information in a practical, engaging way
