Finance Operations Manager

Lead the transformation of a critical finance function and shape the future of service delivery.

This is not a traditional business-as-usual finance operations role. It will suit a finance leader who enjoys transforming and improving processes, not simply managing them.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead the transition, transformation and ongoing optimisation of a critical finance function operating within an outsourced service model. This is a unique opportunity to reshape processes, establish a high-performing operating model and drive long-term improvements across finance operations, governance and service delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in transitioning key finance activities, embedding strong controls, improving operational performance and creating a more efficient and scalable finance function.

This role sits at the centre of a significant finance transformation program. Beyond managing service delivery, you will redesign processes, improve controls, challenge legacy ways of working and help establish a future-state operating model that supports long-term business performance.

You will be the critical link between internal stakeholders and outsourced service partners, ensuring operational excellence while delivering meaningful and sustainable change.

Your Impact

·         Lead the transition of finance operations into an outsourced delivery model, ensuring service continuity and strong stakeholder engagement.

·         Review, redesign and standardise transactional finance processes to improve efficiency, scalability and control.

·         Act as the primary escalation point between internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers, driving accountability and performance.

·         Establish governance, service metrics and reporting while identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and continuously improve operations.

About You

·         Proven experience leading finance operations within an outsourced service environment is required.

·         Demonstrated success delivering finance transformation, process redesign or operating model change initiatives.

·         Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, compliance and the broader accounting implications of process change.

·         CA, CPA or equivalent preferred, with strong commercial thinking, stakeholder influence and a passion for continuous improvement.
