Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator

We're seeking for passionate safety professionals in their early careers to join our Amazon Australia WHS team and make a meaningful impact on workplace health and safety.

Reporting to the site WHS Manager, this role is crucial in building safety culture and ensuring compliance across our Amazon Fulfillment Centers across Sydney.

We have multiple roles available to be based in the following locations: Moorebank, Kemps Creek and Horsley Park.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly safety audits to identify and mitigate potential risks

• Facilitate critical responsibilities such as incident investigation, safety walks and other safety related activities

• Provide coaching to team members on safety best practices

• Manage compliance related documentation and WHS internal database

• Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance workplace safety standards

What You Need:

• Cert IV in WHS or Bachelors in a safety related field

• Strong understanding of workplace safety principles and regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexible shifts

• At least 1 year minimum experience in a Safety Coordinator role or similar capacity

*This is a full-time, hourly paid rate role based on shift patterns (working during Sunday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Saturday) and may need to rotate depending on business need.
