Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager is a key leadership role at Concept Windows, responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position oversees the scheduling, measuring and supervision of our Apartment and Industrial Commercial window and doors project activities, manages subcontractors and installation teams, and ensures compliance with job specific specifications, and Australian Standards. The Project Manager acts as the central point of communication between clients, site crews, and internal staff to achieve successful outcomes and reinforce Concept Windows' reputation for quality, safety, and service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule projects, including subcontractor work programs, and monitor progress against agreed timelines.

• Conduct site measures, supervise installation crews, and oversee quality control of our Apartment and Industrial Commercial Projects.

• Ensure long lead time items (e.g., hardware, centors, curved glass) are procured promptly and customers are advised of lead times.

• Review project drawings before commencement, ensuring latest revision drawing set, ensuring product colour, engineering, and compliance requirements are met.

• Communicate daily with clients to update project timelines and details. Ensure project scope is clear and consistently met through effective communication and proactive problem solving.

• Communicate and coordinate with builders regarding site prep, access requirements, equipment required (e.g. craneage) to ensure quality and safety of install.

• Respond to all phone calls and emails daily to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate and support installation teams, addressing and resolving issues quickly and effectively.

• Complete snag list walk-throughs of all jobs for submission to the client and Project Completion Manager, ensuring complete and functioning install.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.

About you

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Project Management or Site Management within the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment; trade experience or mechanical aptitude highly regarded.

• Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain proactive under pressure.

• Strong business acumen with an understanding of budgets, costs, and profitability.

• Proficient in computer systems and email communication.

• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

• Ability to foresee challenges, address them early, and deliver effective solutions.
